The goal of this project is the development of eye-tracking based screening methods for the detection of developmental language disorders (dyslexia, specific language impairment). More specifically, it is our goal to infer and predict the presence of developmental language disorders by analysing eye-movements during reading.

Early diagnostic tools of developmental language disorders are highly desirable as early intervention is essential to improve the further course of language development. Eye-movement-based diagnostic tools have the potential to be employed at schools and preschools in an inexpensive manner, still covering large areas at the same time.
