MultiplEYE - Enabling Multilingual Eye-Tracking Data Collection for Human and Machine Language Processing Research

In this EU COST Action, together with 200 other researchers from across Europe, we will create a multilingual eye-tracking-while reading corpus that will include data from 27 languages (Albanian, Arabic, Basque, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Romansh, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish).

This large, multilingual corpus will serve as a resource for cognitively enhanced or cognitively explainable NLP as well as for psycholinguistic reading research. As the data collection for the different languages takes place in a closly aligned way, the resulting data will allow for high quality cross-lingual comparisons.

The University of Zurich with Lena Jäger as Scientific and Legal Representative is the Grant Holder of this project.
